Kyzen Solutions was founded in 2009 by ASQ certified Lean and Six-Sigma experts, QHSE, Project Management, and Digital Technology professionals with vast experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, engineering, and technology solutions. Naga Chandrakasan - Principal/Sr. Engagement Leader - USA and India

Naga is a LSS Master BB. He has extensive leadership in industry having led transformations in global Fortune 500 companies such as Rolls Royce, Cameron International, Exterran, EMS USA, Inc. He has over 28 years expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, Quality Management, Capital Projects, Facilities, ERP custom process design, New Product development/introduction, Process development and improvement, Project Management, Supplier Quality Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Offshore Development Centers. He has strategized and established QMS/EMS and Lean SS programs across global plants at a corporate level. Led ISO 9001:2000, 14001 Certification. Has championed and led numerous efforts from conceptual design to implementation in both hardware and software with automation. Business excellence initiatives have spanned across the value chain from Enquiry to aftermarket service  for various industrial equipment manufacturing and software companies and has resulted in savings of over $200M annually.

Don Wood: Sr. Consultant/Engagement leader- USA

A Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Master, Don has spent his career in performance excellence, process improvement, problem solving, quality management and innovation. Practice Leader in Innovation, Strategy, and Big Data Analytics. Don has an MBA and a bachelor s degree in international management. He has contributed to two industry books: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Lean Six Sigma and A Team Leader’s Guide to Lean Kaizen Events. He has trained, coached/mentored and executed numerous Lean, Sigma transformation efforts over the last 15 years. Has led over 20 Kaizen events annually.  Has led transformation in Medical, Mining, Finance areas resulting in savings of over $200M annually.

David Harry: Sr. Consultant/Engagement leader – US

Dave is a certified Project Manager with multiple certifications as a Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt trainer and consultant. He has led successful engagements involving Operations Excellence, continuous process improvement, business analysis, and software Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V). A Master Facilitator, Dave helps teams improve business processes and trains employees as problem solvers through process improvement methodologies to remove waste and grow the company bottom-line. With extensive L&SS training, he has implemented numerous Lean and Sigma transformation journeys and coached Kata and Kaizen events across multiple business and manufacturing sectors. Dave holds three business-related Masters-level post-graduate degrees from the University of Southern California, the University of Chennai and from Troy University. Positions Held: Program Manager, IV&V SW Engineer, BB, Kata Coach, Trainer and Deployment Champion at Universities and Global Defense and Energy Companies.

Colin Crawford: Sr. Consultant/Engagement Leader- UK/Europe

Colin has a degree in Mathematics and is a Lean Six-Sigma Master Black Belt, with over 35 years experience in manufacturing industry. He has trained numerous waves of Champions, Black Belts, and Green Belts for many international companies including Cummins, Cameron, Tyco and Sun Chemical. As a Program Manager, Colin led a team of Black Belts and achieved annual cost savings of $15M and over 200 process improvements. Quality improvement in industrial electronic process control systems achieving world class quality levels. Quality and reliability improvement in high volume consumer electronic manufacturing  

Positions held: Chartered Engineer, Fellow of Institute of Engineering and Technology, Fellow of the Quality Institute , Chartered Quality Professional.

Clive Henton: Sr. Consultant/Lead-Projects/Operations & Maintenance

Mr. Henton is as seasoned projects director having overseen directly EPC and Q&M of multiple power plants (Wind farms, Nuclear, Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, Diesel and Fossil fuel) and process plants across the globe. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience over the course of his 40-year career and has been heavily involved in development, acquisitions, divestitures, due diligence, audits, EPC contract negotiations, Contractual Service Agreements, EPC construction; Owner’s Project Manager, Engineering and HAZOP reviews, Commissioning Manager, Staffing and Training of Operators, Mentoring, Operations & Maintenance Procedures. He has led O&M optimization programs and standardization across plants that consistently improved key plant performance indicators to improve the bottom line to the stakeholders while controlling expenses.

Mr. Henton recently served as Project Director for EPC, Operations and Warranty of a power plant in Mauritania, Africa; Wrote Operational Procedures for landfill gas power plant; Directed technical due diligence of the acquisition of a 63 MW wind farm in Nicaragua and then coordinated the resolution of technical issues with the Supplier and maintenance between the Owner and Operator; He has led and facilitated numerous Root cause corrective actions investigations; Operational; Environmental, Health & Safety audits over his career and coordinated and directed the solution and implementation of any issues. Mr. Henton is a Chartered Engineer; he earned this distinction from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

Positions held: Projects Director - Power Plants, Director of Operations and Environment, Health and Safety, Director of Operations & Maintenance; Chief commissioning engineer for companies that include Bechtel, El Paso Corporation, Green Earth Fuels, AEI Services and Globeleq.

Marlene Lanphier: Sr. Consultant/SharePoint Designer

Marlene has been working in IT since the mid-90s, when HTML hit the mainstream scene and she was captivated by the web. From her beginnings as an early webmaster programming first-gen internet sites by hand-coding HTML in Notepad, she spent 10 years adding interactivity to web sites with PERL, JavaScript and CSS. She transitioned from programming to SharePoint with the 2007 release and has been working with Microsoft products in a “no code” capacity since then. Her focus in SharePoint has been, and continues to be, using out of the box features, InfoPath, and SharePoint Designer to their fullest extent to create custom business process solutions. As someone who understands a business problem from both a code and design point of view, she is in a unique position to help companies get the most from a little customization of their SharePoint implementations. She is the technical editor for a number of SharePoint books, including Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Plain & Simple.She has developed and implemented numerous business processes in HR, Operations, Quality, Safety, Finance, Sales and Marketing, IT.
