Training Programs
  • Change Management / Leadership

    • • 4-day class
      • Change management is a structured process and set of tools for leading the “people side” of the triad of People, Process, and Product. The change management roadmap will be facilitated using the ADKAR roadmap
      • A – Awareness of the need for Change
      • D – Desire to support and participate
      • K – Knowledge of how to change
      • A- Ability to implement required skills and behavior
      • R- Reinforcement to sustain the changes
      • Students will be taught the roadmap and will actively participate in exercise to demonstrate the skills needed for change management.

  • Lean Leader

    • • 4-day class
      • Lean Leader is an awareness level class to introduce and understand basic Lean Tools. Students will use simulations and exercises to reinforce class learning. Many individuals can take the basic tools and apply them immediately to work situations. Tools taught include 7 Wastes + Safety, principles including but not limited to Value, Non-Value Added, Value Stream Map, Kanban, Setup Reduction, and 5s.
      • The Lean Roadmap is
      • Value
      • Value Stream Map
      • Flow
      • Pull
      • Strive for Perfection

  • Lean Six Sigma

    • Yellow Belt

      • 3-day class
      • Students are taught a very high level introduction to Lean Six Sigma and the DMAIC roadmap to understand the different types of maps, non-analytical analysis tools, improvement tools, and an introduction to control chart types.

      Green Belt

      • 10-day class
      • Students are all phases of the DMAIC roadmap using analytical software such as Excel and Minitab. In addition Students are required to bring a work “problem” to class to develop a Problem Statement, a Measurement Plan, and a strategy for root cause analysis. In addition analytical tools will be taught basic introduction into statistics to understand correlation, regression and creating control charts.
      D- Define : M- Measure : A- Analyze : I- Improve : C-Control

      Black Belt

      • 20-day class
      • Students are all phases of the DMAIC roadmap using analytical software such as Excel and Minitab. In addition Students are required to bring a work “problem” to class to develop a Problem Statement, a Measurement Plan, and a strategy for root cause analysis. In addition analytical tools will be taught at a greater level statistics to understand correlation, regression and creating control chart, hypothesis testing, and facilitation skills. Included in the class is ADKAR for change management and conflict resolution skills. Many simulations will be used through out the class to reinforce learning.
      • Individuals completing this level of training are expected to work as individual project leaders and work with coaching and mentoring as needed to provide greater analytical support.

      Master Black Belt

      • 15-days (Pre-Requisite Black Belt Mandatory plus 1 year experience)
The material taught for Master Black Belt (MBB), is significantly includes a greater understanding of the statistical tools. By having practical experience the goal is to gain a greater understanding of coaching and mentoring the DMAIC roadmap
      • Additional tools taught include:
      • Advanced regression methods
      • Advanced SPC methods
      • Destructive and Non-Destructive testing
      • Distributional analysis
      • Gage R&R
      • Handling multi-response experiments
      • Multi-vari experiments
      • Non-parametric analysis
      • Optimization experiments with DOE
      • Variation and Non-Normal Data
      • Additional People skills include: Communication strategies and productive meetings ; Managing Conflict and Negotiation ; Financial Accounting

  • Lean Agile

    • • 4-day class (Pre-requisite Lean Leader, GB, BB, MBB)
      • Lean Agile is project management and Lean combined for individuals working not only in IT but also in any production process with a design output. The class teaches students new ways to think about and manage the alignment between technology and production teams. The student will be taught the use of Visual Management tools such as a Kanban board, managing resources, sizing tasks and velocity, managing a value stream map and delivering results. Upon completion of this class students should be able to successful implement Lean Agile project methodology within their businesses.

  • Project Management – PMP

    • • 4-day class
      • Project management is a structured process and set of tools for leading the “process” of the triad of People, Process, and Product. The project management roadmap will be facilitated using the IPECC roadmap
      • I – Initiate a project
      • P – Plan and develop work break down structure
      • E – Execute to plan
      • C- Control and Monitor maintain cost and time budgets on target
      • C- Close the project
Students will be taught the roadmap and will actively participate in exercise to demonstrate the skills needed for project management. Upon completion of the class students should successfully demonstrate their skills by managing projects and further certification exams are available.
